We just stumbled upon a new and free web 2.0 application that allows internet marketers to build and host their minisites, sales pages, squeeze pages, etc. It’s called blinkweb . They say, " If you know how to point and click, you can create your very own professional, "sales letter style" website OR blog in minutes."
It’s really pretty amazing, everything is drag and drop from all the layout selections, testimonial box styles, check lists and best of all it all looks really professional. I tested it out really quick and here is a link to my sample page . Note that my link is a subdomain link, but you can also direct your own domain name there as well!
The feature list is insane. Here are a few:
Many text, image, and video formatting options
Add Youtube and Flickr content
Contact forms
Guestbook
Blog
Google maps
Adsense
Testimonials, Checklists, Buy now buttons
Multiple pages
Check out their promo video:
It’s totally for internet marketers and totally free. In my opinion it’s a great platform and you should try it out. No more screwing around with setting up wordpress, hosting, dreamweaver, ftp. All the tools are right here.
This is the easiest way for anyone to create great salesletters, review pages, blogs, squeeze pages… Everything a marketer needs to deliver their message online. This is an amazing tool that is going to change everything about how minisites are developed.
Referred to as “minisites” by many marketers, a minisite is a small Web site with a narrow subject focus and narrow page width. The minisite model is effective and quite easy to create. Once the site is up, you are done, no maintenance necessary. Minisites are meant to be small, contained and very specific.
Most minisites can be placed into one of three categories. One, they can be long "sales pages" that focus on selling a single product describing the offer and giving a long sales pitch. Two, they can be "squeeze pages" with generally contain “opt-in” signup forms for a mailing list to capture email leads. And three which is the most popular we’ve seen is a combination of both one and two.
The "Sales Page " is generally a long, keyword rich, sales letter from the creator or promoter describing the benefits to using the project. They usually feature testimonials, an explanation of the product, and ordering information. The Link to buy can link to an affiliate purchase page, your own purchase page or Paypal purchase page.
